Harold C. Thomas Jr. grew up in a real estate household. His father, Harold Sr., founded Thomas-Chambers Company and allowed him to shadow most of his day to day operations. By seeing the ups and downs his father encountered, Harold began to understand prioritization, sense of urgency and even rejection.
While growing up in Oakland, Harold had the opportunity to work on many projects in the management of several properties in and around the bay area. These experiences aided him in not only developing the skills and different practices of property management, but also instilled knowledge of the many areas of Oakland and the surrounding cities. By the time he graduated from high school, Harold had worked on several home renovation sites which helped him to develop a better understanding of construction work and what goes into preparing homes to sell and rent. He furthermore enhanced his knowledge of listing and purchase agreements while working in the office.
Harold attended several educational institutions after high school. He started off at Grambling State University majoring in Accounting. He then journeyed to Atlanta where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a marketing concentration. Since then Harold has returned to the East Bay Area and continued his real estate education at Merritt and Chabot Colleges, which allowed him to attain his Real Estate Broker License. He is now partnered with his brother in the ownership of Thomas-Chambers Company.
Through these experiences Harold has fostered a passion for helping people. His hospitable personality is reflected in his willingness to share whatever knowledge he has with others where he thinks that it would benefit them. He is gratified in knowing when he has assisted someone else in becoming successful, whether through an act of business or just words of encouragement.
